  1. something related to academics

  2. involves meeting new people

  3. relaxing and having fun as well

  4. shopping 😀

  5. requires being confidant and alert (sigh!)

If you are willing to guess please do comment and i think its  good to give it some  thought!

Take a break! (1)

Its not any holidays time plus the summer is  no way near. SO no time for activities or to think of something creative…?

You can’t just work for the whole day hours without rewarding or relaxing yourself with some treaty activities. Free time productive activities give you more exposure and experience of a very interesting world. May it be something artistic, sporty, religious, educational or just staring at the starry sky,  they  add up to enhance your character and your life.

Here is a list of things you might want to take up  today. Try to include at least one of these in your life daily.

  1. take a relaxing bath

  2. light a candle at your kitchen table

  3. climb a tree

  4. walk outside

  5. eat a meal in complete silence

  6. color something with crayons

  7. drive somewhere new

  8. write a quick poem

  9. visit a farmhouse

  10. do an act of kindness

  11. find a relaxing scent

  12. sit under a tree of fruits

  13. go to a body of water

  14. watch the stars

  15. fly a kite

There are more to come…
stay tuned 🙂
Good evening! xx

Welcome February!

Hello Feb! 😀

What comes in your mind when you think of this month? Is it your birthday in here?

Or anyone lucky turning Fourteen(14) this February 2k Fourteen (2014)?!?

Well for me the month February creates a pink and red image in my mind. It is a in month which many birthdays in my family take place. Also a month that passes away so quick! After all it is the shortest month of the year.

Maybe if you are a student, like me, you are now more closer towards your finals or external exams. Might as  well it is a month of weddings in some families..not mine though!

Right now i can not recall any memorable event happened in the past Feb.. but can you?? You might want to share something and honestly i am very much interested to listen 🙂

This February coming ahead for me is just full of loads of home-works, projects and commitments. But still i will try to make every day have something positive and worth smiling for later.

Happy February 2014!

Literature

I have a fine interest in English Literature. This is a subject i can add to my interest list of the ‘very few subjects’. I mean i do like other subjects like Biology, but the thing is i can’t go in it for further studies..unless there is  a profession that involves Biology but NOT Chemistry! (i loathe chem :/ ) If you know such course or career do let me know…

Anyways back to the topic for today. I have recently read a few famous and well written English Literature novels. So far all of them were tragedies and coming forward other novels might be tragedies as well. Discussion topics can be raised involving the character analysis and whole purpose of the play itself . The life and times when the writer wrote these plays are also a big point to consider.

in past few months I’ve read:

  • Oedipus the king by Sophocles
  • Antigone by Sophocles
  • Antigone by Jean Anouilh
  • Hedda Gabler by Henrik Ibsen
  • Hamlet by Shakespeare

I have mixed view about these novels, some appealed to me more than the others. In the end, all of them do follow a proper well planned plot and the characters also symbolize many real life events esp. Antigone by Jean Anouilh. Noble characters mostly have ill fates, after all they are a victim of what the writer has written.

There is a lot more i can say on each character of each play. But i am sure not on this post! Maybe some other time 🙂
